Yousef Shalian is the director of the Lutheran World Federation's Vocational Training Program in Jerusalem and the West Bank. This CLWR-supported program provides market-relevant job training to Palestinian youth, with a focus on the needy, refugees, and women. Program graduates participate in the workforce at nearly double the rate of the general youth population, and over 80% are fully employed within six months of graduation.
