Quilts and Kits (We Care Program)
![]() |
The We Care Program impacts thousands of lives each year. |
Canadian Lutheran World Relief makes regular shipments of essential goods to people in need overseas. These goods are collected from caring people across Canada and are received by people who are living in adverse conditions such as refugee camps and poverty-stressed regions. It’s called the We Care program.
CLWR is careful about what it collects, in order to maximize the effectiveness of each shipment. Shipping is a costly and resource-intensive process, and involves intensive scrutiny when passing through customs, so all donated goods must meet strict standards.
CLWR does not ship promotional or religious material along with material aid. Unlike some other organizations, our aid is intended for all people in need regardless of their religion or other personal factors.
